We have offically started the ELF ON THE SHELF !!!! Bella Arrrived Tue Morning November 27, 2012 Please follow me and my little family on this awesome tradition !!! I will post what our elf did and got into everyday please feel free to comment !!!!!
This year i was trying very hard to come up with something diffent and cute for my little girl for Halloween.
After lots of "goggling" i came across a cute idea Sushi Roll let me share with you my process i loved i and everyone was talking about it !!!
Items I Used:
Packing Peanuts
Cardboard
Glue Gun
Duct Tape
Sponges
Styrofoam
Chopsticks
Hat
Tissue Paper
And A Takeout Box....
How I Made It: I cute a flat peice of cardboard into circles back and front and made straps to hold it in place over her sholders. Covered the whole thing in black duct tape to make it strong and give it the seaweed look effect. On the back circle peice i covered it in green tissue paper because as we know sushi is wrapped in green seaweed. I then painted the front white added all my white packing peanuts arund it for the 'rice" then i took my different colored sponges to look like salmon, avacado, and cream cheese and placed them i a circle in the middle all f this was done with my low grade heat glue gun. The soy sauce logo for the hat was a heat transfer from an image online and sewed on to the red felt hat. And i addded the chopsticks to the back.
It was very fun, easy and unique please ask me if you have any questions that i may have left out !!!!
